There was a bug report for this in the megathread but since it's actually an undocumented change (ie: nerf) in behavior, I believe it warrants its own discussion. It looks like Riot really wants to disincentivize preemptive setup.

I shld not have to beg for comms
In my most recent game, I had to beg my team to give me any sorts of info including pings etc. Im hoping that moving on more people will get more comfortable with using their mic.
P.S. I am plat 3 playing in high plat low diamond lobbies
