Well.... I finally hit Gold 1. And I've been on a solid winning spree since!!
- I'm now within 2 games of Gold 2.
While this seems like an irrelevant success to some in this community, most of those who are successful, tend to have an abundance of time on their hands to work and improve their game play.
I work full time as an engineer for a major corporation, and I also started in grad school (for engineering) in the spring of 2022. So in short, I maybe get a few games a week in.
What I want to say to those who are still trying and struggling, keep practicing!! If I can make it, you can make it!!
You do need to realize though, you're not better than anyone you're queue'd with. Don't be toxic to your teammates. Focus on your own game play and do your best to always make the correct decisions. More than anything else in this game, decision making is critical.
Good luck gamers!!
