I know that there have been many posts about this, and the most common and correct answer is that players in a stack can abuse the system to not drop Eli, besides one of them. There is a simple fix for this (I would think it’s simple but correct me if I’m wrong) in the fact that people in a stack with the person that leaves also loses elo. Obviously there will still be matches that have 5 ransoms, and they just argue about who leaves, but this wouldn’t be common enough that it would hugely affect large amounts of games (again if you guys think I’m wrong about that then you can correct me). There are still problems with this system, but overall a lot of the time it’s still a win win because the winning side still gets a elo gain , and the side with a leaver doesn’t lose elo(besides stacks). There will be people that disagree, and you guys can leave your opinions on the comments too
