One month in to Valorant, this is what I've learned

Started playing a month ago, and these are the things I've discovered about the game and its community in that time:.

  1. There are a lot of 13-year-olds who insist on critiquing your play while you're playing.

  2. There are also some really cool people who are just chill the entire match, even if you're playing like shit.

  3. People get super excited when they watch you get your first Ace. Many thanks to the teammates who were shouting "we believe in you!" as I was hunting the last enemy.

  4. Man, fuck Icebox.

  5. What are these prices for weapon skins?!

  6. Learn to predict when your teammates are gonna blind you and just duck back around the corner when it happens. I'm looking at you, Phoenix!

  7. Corner campers are little bitches. I am also guilty of having done it for cheap kills, so I, too, am a little bitch.

  8. I will never not be immediately killed again after rez from Sage.

  9. The same goes for a reset when playing KAY/O.

  10. The Spectre is an underrated weapon.

  11. The Operator is overrated.

  12. Does anyone ever actually use the Guardian?

  13. Seriously, fuck Icebox.

  14. Someone will always talk shit even when they're playing worse than you.

  15. Bad teammates can be a worse handicap than AFK teammates.

  16. I'm addicted.

That is all. Been really enjoying my time playing, and I look forward to fragging you all (and getting fragged) in game!
