People need to understand that toxicity is not going to make someone play better.

I just played a game where I was on 4 kills after 4 rounds, and then I got trapped in baths (Bind) and was getting shot at on the other side by 3 people. My team planted and walled over near Teleporter and somehow all 4 of them got taken out. I literally couldn't do anything and I went baths from the start. I actually didn't even think about the wall and plant. I was just thinking of taking site from a different angle to them. So this guy says to me well played, like I did something wrong. And then I said yeah I was held in baths by 3 people, awesome yeah and someone else says nahhh. So since that point, I got another 4 kills for the game and ended on 8.21.

It's like my motivation just completely shut down. We actually could have won the game, as it went 10-13 so it was close. But after these guys started hanging crap on me, I just had this feeling inside me that I don't care if we win or lose. I wasn't throwing, as I do want to rank up, but I think I was just mentally not in the game due to these comments. I was just playing a lazy game style just running around doing whatever... Not really staying quiet, lurking, nothing. I just couldn't be bothered trying.

So at the end of the day, the people talking crap to me, made themselves lose. I was Raze, so I could have easily popped off for 20 kills if I was feeling the love. So anyone reading this post, just remember the next time you just hang crap on someone for no valid reason... you are destroying a little bit of that person's will to win and it could be the difference between a win and a loss. I understand if someone is deliberately throwing or doing silly things round after round. But if someone makes an error, just accept that they were trying best they could. There is no need to criticize people over their actions in one round.. Usually the person feels embarrassed enough because they know that everyone is spectating them.
