So I've been playing for about 2-3 months. I main controller, mostly Brim, but also Omen/Viper map dependant. I love all the controllers, it's my favorite role.

However, sometimes 1-2 people will auto lock smokes, and I'll be left going... well time to fill.

Playing Duelist I like Pheonix, but duelist is probably the second auto lock, leaving me out of luck.

I really haven't liked any of the sentinels, I dislike their pacing, and it's hard to just pick one up because most require a lot of knowledge of where to place their utility which means watching lots of videos and custom games etc.

So I think that leaves me with Initiators, I haven't played much of any of them, maybe a round or two as fade/sova and i didn't mind them but they weren't like "yes this is what I want to play".

So I guess this is all just a long way of saying... what do yall recommend I play as a second main/fill? I would eventually like to have an agent on each roll that I'm at least semi familiar with when filling.

I don't know how to explain it but when I played Brim the first time I was like "Yes! This! smokes to protect my team on entry or stall on defense, stim beacon for quick entries on attack or retakes, molly for stalling or lineups, his ult just straight up murders people."

I just haven't found a second agent that even remotely feels the same way to me that isn't also a controller.
