Alright so I suck at Valorant, but my brain is massive. I looked at myself sucking, bottom fragging every game. Then I checked my top fragger friend, who just wanted to win pistol round. I then thought "hang on, imagine if he bought shields on a duelist, and I bought him a pistol, and he carried the round?" And it worked fairly well. All ya need on brim is a stim, an extra smoke, and a cracked balls top fragging friend.
Now I thought this was a joke at first, but then I started to lean towards it being undiscovered technology. Why is this not played as meta? Your duelist wins almost every 1v1 if they have shield advantage round 1. Yes, it becomes less efficient if I was a human and could do well with a pistol myself, but really if I'm playing a controller like Brimstone, all I need is to get stim + smoke. I don't feel like the pistol does more with me than having shields does for my baller friend.
My suspicions were further aroused when a Brazilian pro team (LOUD) started doing the same thing. Now it's very unlikely they got it off of me, but I was still happy that I had the same idea as a pro player.
Now I'd love some thoughts, and some testing of this principal. Is it an already established and tested idea? Do any of you think it's undiscovered meta?
