I know this sounds really weird, but I took a month long break from Valorant and have been grinding a lot of chess.com. I’ve gotten significantly better at chess which I feel like has improved my ability to predict what enemies will do as a team and in 1v1 situations. I also feel like I’m more cognizant of spacing and the importance of trading since I don’t wanna leave a teammate “hanging.” I think my positioning has improved too since I get more kills effortlessly and I find myself in less frustrating positions where I can’t have any impact or be traded if I die. I don’t really know what the point of this post is I just felt like sharing this because I found it interesting.
