The lines between MMR and ranking should be settled. I know that MMR is a metric that determines someone's skill in the game and is used to be queued with players on a similar level. However, when playing a ranked game, your current rank seems so pointless because of it.

I don't know how other players feel about this but personally, it just seems discouraging at times to play the game. Players should be queued up with people with the same ranking. The same people who are trying to get out of their current ranks and not with people on a similar mmr.

It feels like there is a gap. We played the same match and lost as a team. The difference is I'm losing in silver and my teammate is losing in gold.
