Because of the latest Viper vs Reyna card I wanted to give more thought into the lore. What we know so far is that Viper and Omen have a deep connection, Viper despises Sage, Viper and Reyna/Reyna's sister had some sort of past, Reyna despises Killjoy.

My theory is that Viper did some sort of experiment on Omen, and Sage was supposed to heal/revive Omen in case it failed -- which it did. However, she was not able to revive him fully so he was alive... but as a shadow. Sage's quote "I wasn't strong enough before... but now, now I am strong enough for us all!" kinda supports this. Because of this, Viper completely despises Sage and doesn't believe in her. Viper's quotes "Sage, you're the only one who can keep us alive. Don't fail us now like you failed me then*."* and "Never ever assume you can help me. You can't help me. You can't help them." also supports this. Omen doesn't really express his anger/hatred towards Sage in his voicelines but there is definitely something going on.

Now, let's move on to the Reyna, Viper, and Killjoy connection.

The latest card shows a picture of Viper and a little girl (who might be Reyna or Reyna's sister who Reyna always refers to). I think Viper also did an experiment on this little girl. Reyna's quote "I remember the machines Killjoy made, what they did to- nevermind. It does not matter." led me to belive that maybe Killjoy was also involved in this experiment. Maybe her machines were a part of this experiment, but because the machines malfunctioned, the little girl died (considering it's Reyna's sister.) So, what's the purpose of the experiment? Maybe both Reyna and Reyna's sister had Soul Harvest powers and Viper wanted to learn more about it. After the little girl died, Viper and Brimstone aka the founders of the Valorant Protocol recruited Reyna since Viper knew Reyna's powers.

This theory might even expand more if we get more voicelines between Omen/Sage and Killjoy/Reyna. Viper seems to be the center of both experiments. Maybe because of all those failures she became the monster she is right now. "I am your monster. You made me this way. Never forget that." Who knows? The devs. We need even more lore.
