From this calling card you can see what looks to be a robot/dog hybrid.

In the video from HITSCAN - Ryan & Mysca, you can hear the devs talk about it and they confirm that it is indeed a hint/Easter-egg to future content.

A while ago, one of the agents found in the files was Codenamed: "DogBot", where a miner, PlayerIGN found its codename and some SFXs in the files along with Reyna who was codenamed "Vampire" at the time.

Each Valorant agent added so far has been alternating between being the "Radiants" (select group of gifted individuals who gained hypernatural abilities as a result of the First Light event.) and ones that use the radiant technology. For example, Reyna with her vampire abilities who is a radiant was added and directly after was Killjoy. And now after Killjoy is Skye who is another Radiant. You could also note that Raze was technically the first agent that we saw added to the game when it was in its closed beta stage which still holds the pattern between alternating Radiants and Radianite users as Raze seems to only use technolgy.

All in all, these are just my thoughts and I could be totally wrong and this could just be another skinline added in the future. But I hope that this is correct because so far there is not a fully mechanical robot character in the roster and to have it be a dog on top of that would be sweet.

His kit could be very fun to use as well, where it could all be centered around stalking and hunting his prey. Skills that make him run faster and move quietly, being able to activate other skills that help him track footprints or the scent of his enemies, where the lower hp the enemy, the stronger the trail. There's a lot of possibilities for his kit and if he is the next agent I hope they focus on the hunting aspect of him.

TLDR: The next agent added in Chapter 2 is possibly going to be a Robot/Dog Hybrid
