So after going to the range a few times I saw that board that marks each map and all and I saw that one was marked on south India in the state of Karnataka that nearly bordered the states of Kerala and tamilnad.

I think they are pointing it to the map.

so I went on google and searched "the city of flowers in Karnataka" there were a lot of places but one caught my eye, Gundlupet. I went to google maps and found Gundlupet and it looked like it was in the same place the game was telling us.

There are rumors that the map could be in a village called Hampi, which is pretty believable as its architecture looks pretty similar to the one on the player card. But if u look at Hampi on the map you will see that it is a bit north of where the board in the range has marked.
