As many of you have seen, heard or experienced, there has been an uproar about the pullout animation of the new prime kerambit. I'd like to put forward my suggestion on how to fix the problem without ruining the efforts the skin team has put into the animation.
Instead of holding the knife and flicking it down to extend, how about it extends from the force of the spin around the index finger. the force of the spin should be enough to extend the knife around half way through the spin.
This would mean the devs time on the animation of the knife extending would not be wasted and the only real change that would need to be put in place would be to use the default pullout animation, merged with the exisitng animation for extending the knife.
