Hey gang, I saw that Valorleaks just released the image for the new bundle "Luna" on twitter (I've added a pic below for you). The buddy caught my eye, because it reminded me of my favorite buddy in the game...

So as you can see, there's 2 buddies... one normal and one angry. I don't think it's two buddies, I think it's an animated one just like the Ox buddy from the Celestial bundle! For those who don't know / haven't seen it: the Ox buddy is a little cute golden cow that changes to an angry red cow when you shoot. Attached a pic below, but you can look it up on youtube to get the full effect.

The reason why I'm 99% sure it's the same mechanic is because 1) they both have a similar cute and angry art style 2) This is the Chinese New Year's Year of the Rabbit. When the Celestial Bundle came out in 2021, it was the Year of the Ox, hence the ox buddy. If they continue this trend, next year we might get an animated Dragon buddy :O

I'm making this post because buying the Ox buddy has been my favorite purchase in Valorant so far. I've bought quite a few skins but nothing beats this cute dude. Unfortunately, I've come across too many players who wish they'd bought the buddy but didn't realize it was animated until it was too late. And also came across many new players who weren't around with the Ox buddy was in the store, and they wish they could buy something similar now. So this post is just an FYI because idk how many ppl will realize the buddy is animated, and I don't want ppl to miss out. Last time, I bought JUST the buddy for 500VP ($5 USD) because I didn't want the bundle. If you don't think $5 is worth a buddy that's up to you, but I think it's sad that there are people who DO think it's worth it but will miss out because they don't know it's animated. Hopefully in the future, Riot adds a space in the store for rotating buddies, banners, and sprays.
