Questions from a csgo player coming to valorant

Hi, I have been trying out valorant recently and had some things that needed clarification.

I am aware that the economy in this game is similar to cs but not exactly the same. With no loss bonuses, you get 1900 if you lose, but if you remain alive after the round is over as either t or ct, I believe that amount is further diminished to 1000. Therefore, it is only worth saving if your gun + armor value is greater than 1900, otherwise it's better for your economy if you just died.

  1. Is it possible to deny your opponents any money if you killed them after time?
  2. Do I get money as a t if I allowed the cts to defuse while I am still alive?
  3. Do my teammates get less money as a result of me saving? (I assume no but not sure)

And some general questions:

  1. How often should I be replenishing my armor? If it's at 30/50 for example, is it worth refilling?
  2. Should I prioritize buying armor and utility over weapons? I believe you still get aimpunch even after buying armor

Also, I would greatly appreciate it if other cs players here could give me any general tips about valorant.
