I played my 5 placement matches, won most of them and finished match MVP in like 3 of them. I played mainly against immortal players and a few diamonds, but got placed Plat 3 since it's the highest ranked you can get placed.

Now to my question: Since there's a significant difference between my rank and my MMR, am I going to get more points and rank up faster to immortal if I win games than a Platinum 3 with Plat 3 MMR (that played against other Platinums)?

Not sure if my question is clear enough. I feel like it's actually going to be harder to climb up with a Plat 3 rank if all of my games are against immos? Or do I get more points because of my MMR?
