With the new Radiant Entertainment System bundle hitting the store, I think we need to have a talk about those infamous "Radianite Points".
I begrudgingly accept that skins/bundles cost an arm and a leg because Valorant is a free to play game, and I am willing to fork over cash for bundles when I see fit. But the one thing that feels slimy, and I'd even go as far to say outright predatory, is the fact that people will drop HUNDREDS on these bundles and still not be able to use the effects of those skins out of the gate.
It's flagrantly disgusting and bordering on false advertisement.
Is it not enough for 99% of the skins to be only usable through a purchase of some kind using real world money? Is Riot hurting that much for money that they need to lock aspects of a purchase behind another purchase? Sure, we get *SOME* Radianite Points (30 Measly Points...) on the free track of the Battle Pass. But the only real options are to buy the BP in order to get any decent amount of RP or outright buy them, but even then the cost per point is ludicrous, bordering on comical.
This is killing any motivation to buy future bundles because I know I'm gonna have to either grind my ass off for a miniscule amount of reward, make a smaller purchase and still grind for a better-than-miniscule reward, or outright make another HUGE purchase JUST TO SEE THE BENEFITS OF THE THING I ALREADY BOUGHT.
Devs/Riot Overlords. I humbly suggest you rework this system because it's disgusting as it currently stands. You have people willing to buy skins, new and old, in order to support the development of this game. The LEAST you could do is allow them the full, unfettered access to the thing that they graciously bought from you. The MOST you could do is set up a system that ACTUALLY INCENTIVIZES players to play matches and buy skins (i.e. rewarding Radianite passively from wins/smaller amounts for losses, get the bonuses as they currently are from battle passes, have reasonable exchange rates for direct purchases). But as it stands, I can't justify dropping $110 for skins that I won't see the full benefit from any time soon...

Is VALORANT suposed to take up 639 GB of storage? I know the game has a lot of content but 600GB feels like a lot.
