In this post, I am going to highlight two flaws within Riot's Social system that most of you guys might have probably overlooked.

Imagine you sent a friend request to a player from your last game, but you received no system notifications for it. You keep readding the person, but the message "Friend request sent" never came up, so you continued wondering and wondering. However, you never found the answer. Luckily, I am here to tell you the answer:

As you can see, Riot Accounts have a cap on the number of friends, which also includes the number of pending friend requests. Once reached, you will be deprived of the ability to add or receive further friend requests. When you add somebody whose friend list is full, no system message will be sent to you because your friend request was not sent. In other words, the other party did not receive your request.

I have encountered this issue so many times. People just came to tell me they had added me, but I saw no pending friend requests in my friend list. That was the moment I realized my friend list was full. I wish Riot Games added a system message to indicate that the recipient's friend list is full.

Besides that, Riot Accounts' friend list also has a cap on the number of outgoing friend requests. Let's say you have sent too many friend requests at one time, like I once did, and now the game forbid you from sending any more. Unfortunately, your only solution to free this up is by downloading Riot's LoL client and cancel your friend requests from that game. Now, that sounds like an arduous task, doesn't it? Yes, in fact, I even downloaded the wrong LoL launcher, meaning that I mistakenly downloaded the game twice! If Riot has a cancellation function in LoL, why don't they implement a similar one in VALORANT?

I have a feeling that VALORANT's team cares little about their social system. What do you guys think?
