Honest to God questions, some rhetorical, some directly to Riot.
Why is Remake NOT automatic? Why the fuck do I have VOTE to not play a 4v5 from Round 1?
If you print this post on a single sheet of paper and add it to the stack of similar posts, it'd be like adding a drop of water to an ocean. This shit is being complained about on a regular basis, as far as I'm concerned the OVERWHELMING majority of the community thinks it shouldn't require a vote and yet for some reason it hasn't been addressed yet by Riot.
When a player fails to select a hero OR DISCONNECTS during draft phase, the game is immediately suspended and you are sent back to queue. However, when a player fails to submit a single input OR DISCONNECTS during the first round of a LIVE GAME, somehow that is okay and requires a vote.
Why isn't there a remake vote during draft phase when someone dodges, but in the actual game there is? I could not give a single fuck whether the person that left received a "penalty cooldown", I want my 17 RR back!
How many people are actually out there that deliberately choose a 4v5 from 1v1?
What techonlogical and logistical problems would such a change cause? If VALORANT as a game can detect such occurences, why not just immediately suspect the game and move on? Just give the dodger/crasher/whom-fucking-ever an actual cooldown the first time they do this instead of a slap on the wrist like with the draft phase situation.
Are we as a community just not making this as big of a deal than it actually is? Because though as mad as I am about THIS, I can definitely recall being the benificiary of such a thing, that is winning an easy 5v4 from Round 1 where the enemies didn't even try. In the end it kind of evens out, but why should it happen in the first place?
If having a one-man advantage for a single round is worth 8 Ult Points, how much is such an advantage for THE ENTIRE GAME worth?
Just WHY?
