Plotted by number of attackers and defenders alive, and horizontally showing time before spike plant and after. Data from Pro Play: 2000+ rounds of VCT Stage 2, all regions.
Main takeaways:
- DEFENDERS: 1v2, 2v3 and 3v4 retakes are extremely difficult (around 1 in 7 win rate). Think about saving more.
- ATTACKERS: Its perfectly OK to plant at the last second…
As long as you stay alive: each death gives defenders a ~15% increase in win probability
