I promised someone I would make a topic discussing my theory between Sage, Viper, and Omen's Relationship and What Happened to Omen. So here we go:

What We Know About Sage, Viper, and Omen:

• Viper is also known as Sabine (Dr. Sabine) and she's a scientist from America. She's known to make dangerous toxic weapons, however, in the past, she used to be a medicinal doctor (Based on Omen's Line "Just think, Sabine! You used to heal with your skill. Funny"). She and Omen seem to have known each other (Omen refers to Viper as "Sabine" and Viper nearly called Omen "Fred") and probably have a close relationship (They both have the most lines for each other along with signs of Omen not wanting to lose her and Viper having so many concerns for Omen and his nightmare). Viper also seems to have a grudge against Sage (Based on the line "That's payback Sage." if you kill her and her interaction line "Never. Ever. Assume you can help me. You can't help me, you can't help them").
• Sage's profession is unknown, however, we know she has the ability to heal and she comes from China. Somehow, she seems to know Viper (Based on her line "Viper have you thought about my offer? You don't have to"). There's not much info as to whether Sage knows Omen, but somehow it seems safe for now to assume they know each other.
• Omen has no origin or any other information in his introduction, however, his voice lines can give us clues to his origin. We know he and Viper go way back and he doesn't want to lose her. Omen also has a real name which is "Fred" from Viper, but she cut herself before finishing so he may have a longer name than "Fred". He always talks about being in a "split" ("Split? Ah...They don't know the meaning of the word"), having a burden ("My burden never ends."), and Keeping himself together ("Keep yourself together! You can't fall apart now." & "I let go for a second..."). It seems that based on all his lines plus the way he grunts each time he teleports he's in pain. He also shows that he has no physical body, and by adding the idea that he talks about being in a split, we can say that he's living in an endless time of pain and holding on.

What Happened Between Them? I'll tell you, but first, let's start with the Omen Incident.

I believe that Omen and Viper, aka Fred and Sabine, were doctors in a lab (maybe working for Kingdom before/after First Light). I theorize that they're either close partners or maybe even have a relationship together, which explains why they care for each other and don't want to lose each other. They might be conducting some experiments for two reasons theories: Before First Light, they might be trying to revolutionize or experiment with other things for humanity or something else, After First Light, they might be trying to study the new Radianite or Radiants (hence the Viper VS Reyna Card comes to play). There might be a possibility that Sage is also one of the doctors there, however, that's my theory. Somehow something bad happened in the lab or some experiment went wrong and Omen, unfortunately, met the tragedy and either was destroyed in a way or died.

That's my theory on what could have happened to Omen. Now to What Happened Between Them? Here's my list of theories:

1. Viper and Omen are older than Sage (based on their appearance) so she must've been a student/young colleague that's working with them. She must've been a star student as well. When the Incident happened, Viper must've needed Sage the most, but unfortunately either failed her or betrayed her by leaving her, so when Omen (we'll say this for now) died, Viper despised Sage for it. Sage felt guilty and sought out to find a way to save Omen that's beyond Science and learned how to heal (based on her player card "Journey of Trials" where learns how to heal or the FL awakened her powers). She tried to save Omen, but because she wasn't strong, it wasn't enough (based on her line "I wasn't strong enough before... but now, now I am strong enough for us all!")
2. Same as number one, only this time Sage was a different doctor. She had some ideas and discoveries based on the powers of healing that are beyond science and went out to learn those powers. Viper and Omen must've either dismissed the idea or just let her be. The Incident occurred and Sage was nowhere to be found and Omen died. Since Sage is a caring person, she probably tried to save him for Viper's sake so she learned healing (based on her player card "Journey of Trials" where learns how to heal or the FL awakened her powers), but it failed and Omen is now living in this nightmare and Viper despised her for it because now he's suffering.
3. Again with Viper, Omen, and Sage being doctors, only this time Sage must've been the smartest and has some experiment coming up, and Viper and Omen work for her (I theorize her smartness based on this line "Remember Brimstone, if anything happens to you I'll take the lead." which seems like something she wouldn't just say unless she has experience being a leader). Sage's experiment went wrong and paid the price with Omen. Viper was devastated by it and Sage felt guilty and they part ways (I'm going for a different theory reason to how Sage heals cause that's too repetitive). Sage gave up Science and went to learn either meditation or "healing" in the place where the card "Journey of Trials" takes place and then the First Light gave her actual power of healing. Sage tried to save Omen, but again, not enough.
4. A different start this time, Sage is NOT a doctor and DOESN'T work in the lab with Viper and Omen, but maybe she's FRIENDS with them. Sage is probably already learning to heal, but probably not the actual healing in a way (like meditation something) in the "Journey of Trials". The Incident happened and Sage knew that Viper was devastated by it. When her powers awakened as an actual Healer, she tried to learn resurrection. Let's say she must've also had a teacher who probably warned her that she's not ready or there are some consequences, but because Viper was her friend, she was stubborn and tried to save Omen. Again, Omen is not what he is when brought back, and he started having so much pain and starts living in so many nightmares. Viper blamed Sage for what she's done and gave Omen a worse fate than death and so Sage chose to leave them alone and work harder to perfect her powers. Now Sage is more powerful (since Omen said "A radiant healer is with them. I can feel her pull against the natural balance.") and she can resurrect better (hence the voice interactions "Viper have you thought about my offer? You don't have to" by Sage and "Never. Ever. Assume you can help me. You can't help me, you can't help them" reply by Viper), but Viper probably doesn't trust Sage or still despises her.

And that's my theory! In the end, I doubt Viper hates Sage, but she still doesn't like her since she says "Sage, you're the only one who can keep us alive. Don't fail us now like you failed me then." which kinda sounds sad for Sage to hear and mean for Viper to say eheheh... however, hopefully in the future we can see more of them and maybe they can finally makeup and Omen can be saved (won't happen soon cause it's a game though).
