Precursor: I'm in Bronze because I stopped playing valorant from just before icebox came out, just until about a week ago when I came back. Every game has a smurf in it because it's bronze and I can't do anything about it (another problem entirely, but relates to this here issue).

So, me and three friends load up a game of comp, expecting a smurf, but hopeful nonetheless. We do get a smurf, but that's not the worst. About halfway through, after my teams closes the gap in the score, two people sit in their spawn and do something involving spamming shortys to lag the server. "low server fps" or something akin to that was showing in the spot I usually see network lag. Server almost shuts down but we rush spawn to kill them every time. Eventually, the other 3 teammates help them lag out the server by protecting them. I lose 19 rr and reported every single one of them.

Has this happened to anyone else? Is riot doing anything about this?
