I just had a ranked match where someone in my team decided to go full troll after we started winning the first couple rounds(7/1 lead). He then proceeded to tell the enemy team his life story and how he just wants to downrank his 5th smurf.
From then on every round he ran with his knife out into the enemy. When it got closer (10/9) he told the enemy team to not kill him anymore. He then started to lead the enemy team to our location by shooting in our direction while also trying to disturb our sight with his skills. In the end the enemy team won the game 11/13.
In my opinion the smurfing troll should be perma banned for doing that. Not sure if that's a controversial take in the valorant community but for me it's obvious why. His selfish behaviour didn't just ruin the game for 4 people, he also stated he is going to continue to ruin the game for many more people and probably already did so in the past.
In the end, he actually got my friend to delete the game right after I convinced him to give the game another try. He stopped playing the game a couple months ago after he had a similar encounter.
My friend is also the reason why I made this post cause he said the enemy team isn't really better than the troll and should be punished as well cause they were cooperating with him by not killing him on sight.
What do you guys think, should they be punished for cooperating with the troll by not killing him on sight and using that as an advantage to win the game?
What do you think should the punishment be?
I'm really interested what the general Valorant community thinks about that.
