I'm a Silver player and I keep seeing people who were Diamond or PLAT last act or the one prior to it.

And they're Silver, when the game is starting I can see the whatevernameitis Triangle with their previous ranks, it's PLAT / GOLD / SILVER .
But in vocal, some players complain about the fact being Silver while their previous ranks was Diamond ( I did 5 games only , but on 4 of them there was one at least ), so we're all in confusion .
Of course, there are in my team but in the one of front me as well.

Can Diamond and Plat confirm their starting rank this act please? Maybe it is just few exceptions. Otherwise, we Silver gonna suffer lmao.
