first off, let me say the new Glitchpop bundle is well made and has a nice, distinct theme to it. I like it a lot and the devs surely put some love into creating them (of course, heavily inspired by existing concept art..).

That said, the discussion about Riots pricing of skins, while nothing new, should not stop. I feel like people forgot or somewhat accepted it. That does not make it okay though.

You pay around 85€ for only the base bundle without any variants. Let us assume that these do not exist for a moment, else the pricing would go into extremes. How is that okay? Other developers and companies are working their hardest for months, even years, to sell full fleshed out, massive AAA games for LESS THAN THIS SINGLE BUNDLE.

I have seen the argument that "you do not need to buy them" a countless times. So what? That does not diminish its massive negative effect on the industry as a whole. They sell a handful - beautiful at that - 3d models for 85€ while games like Cyberpunk, The Witcher, Mass Effect, RDR2, GTA, whatever huge game you pick, costs less? The predatory mobile games market is bad enough as is, but Riot with their store mechanics - solely to PSYCHOLOGICALLY ABUSE YOU - is setting such a bad example for PC gaming. They should not get away with it.

I really wish, albeit probably not happening, that more people would understand and agree that practices like these need to stop, need to be called out, so that the gaming industry is not getting, well, fucked.

tl;dr: Pricing ridiculous. Store mechanics predatory. Riot is a known company in the industry setting a bad example. Will ultimately make it worse for gaming as a whole. Needs to be called out, not slowly accepted.
