Did riot ever mention about a skin downgrades or enabling/disabling certain upgrades?

I upgraded all the skins that I bought before including the reaver bundle now because of the color variant and of course the vfx sounded cool, but overtime it got annoying and disturbing to the point that it affected my shooting. I still use them from time to time but my hearing really prefers the default sounds at the moment, although I still want to use and still like the look of the skins better but just the base level skin.

Since we payed for it I think we should be able to enable/disable certain upgrades we want and don't want.
