Im kind of new and bronze so excuse me if this is a dumb question. Many times when im playing defense and we are stopping them they decide to just sit in their spawn and wait until they pick off a few people then they push.

What is the way to counter this? It's very hard to tell your team mates not to push up so much and just hold their lanes, so should i just push with them so at least we make it a 3v4 rather than 3v5? should i just sit back and not use any utility until there's like 30 seconds left?
