The shooting range is great for practicing reaction and accuracy, but practicing 1v1 against a real person is so much more fun, social and could be even more useful in terms of skill development.
Currently, if my friend and I want to practice a bit together before starting the Ranked MM, we launch a custom game - usually, Ascend DM, cause it has the broad mid and we usually head there to find each other. Still, it takes too much time to run towards the mid after respawn which slows everything down.
I think Riot could prepare a simple small map, a square location with some boxes scattered around, which would be only available in the custom game for such 1v1 practicing (dueling). Production-wise it should be a very easy task, as it doesn't require any additional game mode to be developed - DM works fine, and building such a map would take a couple of days for an environment artist - no need to create anything new, unique or fancy - existing assets can be used to build it.
What do you think?
