As a very frequent Yoru player, I find the footsteps to be extremely long lasting. Any enemy player would realize it's a fake. What if we have such a mechanism that just like we look at the footsteps and activate it, there should be an option for deactivating it too. Due to which we could give just one or two foots or a bit more depending on our need and then shut it down. That would make it a bit more believable.
I think Yoru was made by riot to be the badass person who outplays his enemies. In its current state, I don't think so he's viable in competitive. This buff is not a huge one, easy to implement (I guess) and would not break the game either. So please consider it.
