I been playing Astra for about a month or two, and probably watched over a 100 videos of Controller tips and tricks. But no one ever mentions that you should or shouldn't smoke your own entrance as an attacker to a site. Which is one of the smokes every smoker does in low elo (outside of me), even people in my team tells me that I should smoke our own entrance, and Im hella confused just why that would help us.. Wouldn't it help the enemy more, both for imformation gathering and to get a better shot at us..? Yet I seem to get flamed way to often when I don't put a smoke there.

I'm Bronze 2, anyone mind helping me understand?
