I just introduced my old fort friend to val so I could have a duo, but now that he is level 20, he can now play comp. He is iron 1 and I’m not much high at B3, but he just isn’t incredibly skilled at the game. Granted I want to help him get to a point where he is neat if not as good as me (or better bc I’m dog) I was wondering is it worth dropping my rank to try to help him master and rank up with me. I know a duo is great, and I think I should bc it wasn’t that hard to get where I am, but it may just be odd for a while

Much of this post is theoretical and barely coherent rambling.
I started playing CSGO a bit over a year ago. I started around gold nova 2 than gradually dropped to silver 1. After months of never increasing I gave up and quit for good.
