First of all, I don't like the way Riot classifies agents in the game, we all know Phoenix is a duelist, but what the hell should be a "duelist" in the first place? Because in my personal view, the only duelist skill of Phoenix is his ultimate, which is a great ultimate, for sure, but what about his other abilities? 1- His flashbang has the shortest duration in the game, is hard to use for begginer, it's no so rare we seen even pro players complaining about his flash; 2 - His wall is his best ability, very useful to open the path for quick assaults with our teammates, but for blocking enemy attacks it's just... Cute, at least, since doesn't make so much damage and has short duration, I know this ability is not meant to be used as a defensive tool, but sometimes we NEED to do this; 3 - His fireballs is the worst ability in the game. Yes, he can heal himself, that's really cool, but why the hell a fucking fireball is so useless to attack enemies and has such a short range?
In my opinion, the duelist class should be about characters which have great mobility, Phoenix doesn't have any skill like that. Jett can jump, hover and dash, Raze can do a lot of tricks with her Q ability, Yoru can teleport himself in short spaces and Reyna can become immaterial and move herself with more speed at the same time if she gets a kill, but what about Phoenix? His kit doesn't seem to be of a duelist, he looks like a initiator who cannot get info about the other team. Well, what do you guys think about that? I honestly think that Phoenix needs a rework.
