Started playing last week, in plat/diamond. The community has been absolutely abhorrent. Is this normal? Is it because of the end of the season?

To preface, I only solo queue.

Idk how to feel about Valorant rn.

I came from CSGO and have extensive experience there.

I am fully convinced that the community in CSGO is a million times better than the community in Valorant.

In my last 5 games, I have had 4 leavers, (2 used AFK "W" macros), and in the 5th I had a duo of 12 year olds screeching into the mics and throwing. The Raze went 1/18.

I've noticed that if it isn't just blatant leavers or trolls, very few people communicate and almost everybody tries to make constant hero solo plays that throw the game and then trying to forfeit. The ego's seem to be off the charts.

I've never in my life seen people try to forfeit a competitive game while winning by 4-5 rounds but I've seen it multiple times in Valorant in the last week.

I brought this up to a friend of mine who got me into Valorant and he is convinced it's due to the current season almost being over. Is this true or is the community just horrendous?
