Although having a female player on your team might not happen every game for you, hearing "OMG it's a GIRL" or "ArE YoU a GiRL???" does happen every single game for us. Its unoriginal, old, and we're all sick of it. Please grow up.

You might think it's harmless but "OMG it's a girl" is usually the opening line by the guy who is also gonna follow it up with kitchen jokes, onlyfans jokes, sexual harassment, and maybe even friendly fire. Women don't know which guy you're going to be.

And personally for me, I dont care, you're being disrespectful either way. As a kind stranger once said in one of my games, "keep it in your fucking pants, not in comms".

All you're doing is making female players feel more isolated than they already do, and bringing them unwanted attention unrelated to playing Valorant. It creates anxiety and makes it harder to focus and play.

It is especially ironic to see this behaviour from players who also have the audacity to complain about their team mates not using voice comms.

I'd like to thank my duo and the few strangers in games who have stood up for me in comms and told others to stfu when they started harassing me, and I encourage others to do the same.
