I think daily missions are pretty bad offenders in regards to the whole battlepass/xp thing. The fact that you need to complete 2 missions DAILY, means that, if you miss a day or two, you lose the chance of earning those missions. Completing daily missions EVERYDAY is not realistic for many and ridiculous. Even if I can play valorant everyday, I enjoy playing valorant with friends over solo, and they are only available on the weekends. Daily missions per week is worth roughly as much as the Average Weekly missions per week.
Most games, from Fortnite to Hearthstone, use a stack system, where, everyday you get ONE mission and it accumulates to three if uncompleted, (and you can reroll once a day, but considering the lack of daily mission objective variety that isn't annoying to complete, I don't this is necessary.)
TL;DR: create one 4000xp daily mission that carries over to the next day if uncompleted and the stack (up to three daily missions) isn't full. It is a good compromise between not burdening and allowing the busier players (who have jobs and/or studies to do) to catch up and keeping player retention (people who play a lot probably play regardless of the missions, considering they end up completing them in one or two games anyways).
