Back when Gekko came out, I was testing his kit in competitive. Then my two remaining braincells activated one round, planning to use my ult to combo with another. I manned up and asked my Brim (because my region and elo hardly uses comms) to pick up an orb for his ult to be ready to use on people I detain.
Then, I chased down this poor guy, but still worried that my Brim wouldn't follow up on my plan. But he did. My two braincells chugged 3 bottles of dopamine, hugged and kissed each other. He was celebrating, I was celebrating, the rest of my team was malding, but still.
I love that. Sharing that moment where a team of randos just start merging brains, and even if you lose and derank, you just enjoy it. It's a better feeling compared to top fragging and destroying your enemies. And it's more fun with strangers because it's like meeting new people and finding that common interest that hits you both in the head.
But, how about you? Do you have moments of teamplay that you can't forget?
