It's only been a month of playing Valorant which happens to be my first FPS game. I am currently in Iron 2 but I try my best to improve & learn everyday. There is always the talk of people being toxic towards beginners coz we tend to make lot of mistakes. I faced fair amount of the toxicity too. But what melts my heart is those good people who are kind, understanding & nice to beginners. Sometimes a simple "Nice try bro, don't worry about it" can sky rocket our morale & boost confidence & I've witnessed it myself today.

I was in a Comp game & took Omen for the first time(Team needed a smoker & I unlocked Omen 3 days ago so I thought to give it a try). First 6/7 rounds went bad for me, I didn’t get any Kills, I even f**ed up the smokes a few times. Our Reina started to laugh at me in the chat, others joined in & honestly I felt bad, down in confidence. I told them instead of laughing at me can they suggest me coz it's my first time playing Omen & only took him coz the team needed one. Instantly our Sage stopped laughing, tuned on his mic & said "Sorry bro, don't pay heed to it, try your best". And he kept on being nice to me whole game. We were losing bad but those encouragement made me play better & better. And after 5 more rounds I got my first ACE in a Comp game. I also thanked him for being so supportive. From a losing situation we managed to draw the game (14-14). Just to add that Reina who started laughing at me at the beginning actually bottom fragged.

All these made me think that we may always talk about the toxicity but there are really very nice people out there also. They can keep calm even when the team is playing s**t (which may end up hurting their rank) & knows the value of boosting the team morale. From the bottom of my heart I want to thank you.
