Pretty much title.
It’s so much better with instant respawn and also not having the noise of spawning in. DM is still pretty fun but dying and then waiting 3 seconds to SOMETIMES spawn into some action can definitely get tilting. Especially when people mostly just camp near spawns now and swing off the spawn noise.
It’s just DM and it doesn’t matter too much but a couple small changes could really help the flow in my opinion.

The only issue with matchmaking is that Riot acts as if Valorant is a bad game and they need incentives to keep people playing.
