Even after his most recent buff his pick rate was already dropping fast to 0% after teams used him for a while in nearly all regions beside on Bind in Europe where was picked more often than omen, these stats were from before Astra got added to them but after the Brimstone buffs. Omen was already regaining his 100% Pick rate before Astra got added.

Then this week Viper got her buff and it's clear teams (going based off watching mainly of EU here) are shifting to Astra and Viper on Bind, viper is the better post plant agent now and far better on the one map you'd see brimstone one.

Brimstone just can't compete against the other agents when it comes to other abilities, especially his C ability looks pathetic compared to Astra's gravity pull & Viper's pit which is essentially a death sentence if you run through one since it'll cause you to take double damage

Omen's C is also great for the individual playing him, flexibility and being able to relocation when you're stuck in a corner is unmatched, what does Brim have? Stim packs? I haven't seen a single pro team that played Brimstone EVER throw or use the stim pack and considering how much it messed with your spray/muscle memory I don't blame them.

What's up next for Brimstone? His one advantage he always had over Omen was being able to execute with multiple smokes but now Astra can do the same exact thing but much better and efficient while also using her other abilities.

He's also the only controller that doesn't have recharge smokes (Omen's recharge, Astra has a maxium of 5 which is a full 75 seconds if you were to purely use the stars for smokes and Viper's fuel recharges very quickly, brimstone has 3 limited smokes AND a super limited map whereas Omen and Astra can smoke from across the map.
