What would happen if there was no hidden MMR at all?
Ascendant 1 can only play with people ascendant 1 to 3 for example. And the flat rr gained or lost per game is dependent on your performance. Instead of outright collectively guessing your rank based on your performance, just award high rr...

Why don't you get banned for leaving comp games?
My friend, who I barely play with anymore cause of this, always leaves his comp games. He leaves every time he gets tilted, or a teammate of ours gets mad at him. I haven't been playing with him, but he still does it when we're on discord....
