The idea of grinding a whole day is unrealistic

I think when we watch streamers stream competitive for countless hours every day and constantly hitting the play button over and over again, it is easy to feel like you have to do the same thing to be on the same level or that is the most optimal way to improve. I am here to tell you that this is entirely false.

I have been in the same exact spot where I feel like if I don't play 10+ matches a day I am not improving as much as I should be. While it's true that playing the game will lead to improvement, playing when you are burnt out will lead to low quality games and therefore very small if not NO improvement. These low quality games can also cause you to tilt more and you end up enjoying the game less. This can lead to you being tunnel visioned on "Improve. Improve. Improve." and forget that the real reason you started playing the game is because you found it FUN! In my opinion just playing the games where you are genuinely enjoying yourselves is the optimal to improving.

Tilting can cause you to leave passive aggressive hints towards your teammates and cause them to tilt. This triggers a domino effect, lowering everyone's mood and chance of winning / improvement; quality of gameplay. So hey, don't feel like you have to play every minute of the day in order to improve, do it in your own pace, do it consistently and you will see growth.
