Hey guys :) I’m an imm3 300rr peak. I still have some improving to do for myself but I just wanted to share the best mindset you could have for this game. It got me out of gold and all the way to immortal.
The important thing to understand is that yes, unfair, weird, unlucky, situations occur in the game, but a lot of the time you can change it into it being your fault.
Hear me out.
Got run and gunned by a Spectre in vents on split? Yeah it sucks and it’s pretty stupid. But instead of going “I died cuz this player made a dumb play” you could say “How can I prevent/punish this in the future?” Maybe if you hear a Spectre shot next time you hold for a wide swing, or maybe you hold a deeper angle to catch them off guard or counter the specters spray spread by holding from the lower box.
I don’t know if I explained this properly, but the gist of it is, that there is a learning experience in every single thing that goes wrong in this game, and learning to harness that experience is what separates a good player from everyone else.
If you need clarification feel free to ask!
