The skin store is in an AWFUL state and it needs to be talked about more

There are currently 170 skins that can be in your shop. This means it would take you 45 days of logging in every day to check your shop before you went through every single skin assuming theres no duplicates. There probably are so then you get to a point where youre never guarenteed to EVER get the skin you want.

This type of shop was obviously poopularised by Fortnite and I'm sure Epic made a shit load of money from it. The idea is that you will be more likely to buy skins because you have 24 hours to think it over before that skin is potentially gone forever. The other reason is that people will buy a skin they think is okay until they get the skin they actually want in the shop.

It's really disappointing after their well made monetisation systems in League of Legends and Legends of Runeterra, both having cosmetic shops in which you can buy skins whenever except event or seasonal skins.

It also doesnt make sense for a CS:GO player who is used to being able to buy skins whenever they want from Steam's marketplace or 3rd party websites.

My final point is that game playerbase's are naturally made up of a lot of children as they have the most time to play. This shop system is made to exploit the natural impatience of children who aren't willing to wait potentially forever to get skins on their guns, especially when their favourite content creators have skins on every gun. This point especially is why I think this monetisation system is disgusting and predetory.

Unfortunately in today's gaming enviroment unless something effects a content creator or there is overwhelming backlash from the community things like this won't change, so this needs to be talked about more, which is why I made this post despite there being others.
