At this point we all know why people lock duelists and then don't enter site. But I swear I don't understand why people lock smokes and then don't smoke! Like why???

I played a game today where I picked Astra but didn't lock because I avoid instalocking. Our last player locked Omen so I was like "okay we don't need two smokes, I'm playing something else." Not one single smoke was used in that game. Not one! The enemy kept peeking from the same spots and the whole team even asked "can you smoke heaven at least please?". Not one single smoke. I seriously don't understand lmao Why would you pick a character whose kit revolves around smokes and then not use them?
