I noticed that the algorithm in the Valorant reporting system can recognize the profanity texts in the all/team chats but they cannot recognize voices over the mic. Sure, all people have different voice accents and tones to makes it difficult for an algorithm to follow that. However, it's too unfair for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, mutism, and female players who didn't want to use the mic in their Solo/Q or they will get harassed.
For me as a Deaf Platinum 3 streamer who cannot use the mic to communicate with random teammates. I can admit that I sometimes too can get a little toxic toward random teammates who chose to attack me or my Deaf duo based on our deafness or something else. For instance, a random teammate complained to enemies in the all-chat for having a Deaf teammate who doesn't have "comm." I did tell them that I am Deaf and cannot use the mic. I said team chat and pings help a lot and I can provide the callouts through team chat and pings. Looks like this "140- Raze" "1 Hell 1 Grid" on A site Ascent.
I firmly believe this Valorant community needs to realize that they are playing with various players like women, Deaf, Hard of Hearing, etc. Riot needs to take action in this serious matter and protect these players like me. Lastly, I have so much hope in Valorant because I thought they will become a better leader in Esport against CSGO with better accessibility and a safer community. Thank you for your time!
