I feel like Valorant is coming together nicely, bit by bit, at least the developers are active and listening. Coming from CS that's huge. What eventually made me quit the game, that Valve has absolutely zero interest what so ever to make the game better aside from milking some skin money.
Down to business, I would really like to see bigger difference between stand shooting and crouch shooting. Now there's so much run and gunning happening, because it's effective. Relyks from C9, made recently a nice video about it, and it's definitely one of the things that needs to go. Make stand spraying at least bit have a wider spread or more difficult to control, so there's at least some upside to crouching. I feel like if you wanna be mobile and shoot, at least make it that you have to burst fire, not just run wild like a Rambo and get rewarded for it.
Recent patch made some nice changes to Icebox. What I thought from start would be a nice to have in Icebox A site, is where the big box used to be in the corner, that there would be a ramp to the upper ledge. I feel like that would make things more interesting when defending the spike, after plant situations and generally more fluid movement around the site.
Then there's unnecessary blocks that just add's elevation change, for no reason. Coming to A site, there's a ramp to the site, but a corner of it is just a block. Make the whole pathway a ramp like it's in next to it. I attached a picture of what I mean (including the ramp I was talking about), fighting around the site get's whole a lot smoother when you don't have to jump or drop down a ledge like that. Worst part of it when you drop down from that, you have to wait for the landing to happen before your accurate. If the whole thing is smooth ramp like that, there's no problem. The other side of that has similar block that could be removed.
Edit: New to Reddit, I guess the image I pasted while making the post doesn't show up? Need to upload it somewhere and paste a link?
