When you tie, you either receive a "rating slightly increased" or a "rating didn't change". I tracked my RP after getting an equal sign, rating didnt change, to see that it actually went down by 3. When riot introduced the new overtime system in the [1.03 Patch Notes](https://playvalorant.com/en-us/news/game-updates/valorant-patch-notes-1-03/) , they said that "Players might gain rank off a draw but will never lose rank". Apparently you can lose rank off of a draw, albeit a very small amount relative to a loss.

There should be an option to cancel it so that doesn't happen.
