At the end of January, the official channel posted the video "Episode 4 Act II Look Ahead", in which was announced the team's plan for E4AII, I will quote some of what was said:

1. "There will be no new agent or map"
2. "Lots and lots of updates that target agent balance, existing maps, promoting good player behavior, and an even better ranked experience"
3. "You'll be hearing a lot more from us"

On March 1st, Act II is released with patch 4.04. Icebox and controllers get balance updates, Yoru gets his long-awaited rework, and LATAM gets the new Deterministic Map System which will be rolled to the other servers in the following patch. A promising start.

Three weeks later, patch 4.05 is released. Brimstone gets a small nerf, Deterministic Map System gets enabled for all regions, crosshairs codes are now in-game and the Prioritize Strongest Weapon setting gets a minor update.

Today, patch 4.07 is released, being the closing patch of Act II. LATAM gets new servers and Bulldog and Stinger get nerfed.

Act II would theoretically have 4 patches, with the delay of patches 4.05 and 4.06 we end up with one patch missing.

To sumarize the most significant changes: Icebox, controllers and Yoru get updated; Bulldog and Stinger are nerfed; maps are less repetitive.

1. Only 5 out of 18 agents received any updates;
2. 1 out of 7 maps received any updates;
3. Absolutely nothing has been done to promote good player behavior;
4. Besides the new Deterministic Map System, nothing has been done for a better ranked experience;
5. "You'll be hearing a lot more from us", we didn't.

What happened? Where are all the promised balance changes and quality of life updates? We completely understood the team when they said there wouldn't be a new map or agent, but they also made a promise that didn't even come close to being fulfilled. People are supporting the game, it's totally fair to ask for an explanation to why this act was a dud.
