A few months ago this blog was released by Riot, acknowledging the concerns that the community had voiced regarding the servers and/or the netcode.
We also had a few comments from Rioters on Reddit giving some status and confirming that the players' concerns were real and being checked by Riot (here are two examples that I was able to dig up: 1 and 2).
I love the game but these netcode/server (?) issues are kind of killing it. It would be great if we had some follow-up on this topic.

Game seems fun but not accessible to new players.
Just sayin', as a low skilled player and newcomer to the game, about 1 out of 8 games feels like anything but a competition between the smurfs on each team.
