Val elo system is weird

so today I ( ascendant 2) queued against 3 ex immortals and I went 17 - 3 and we won, i was MVP it was a 13 - 1 win I had a 43% headshot rate I was entrying and hard carrying with 3 4k's and I clutched and won us 3 rounds. but i got + 16 rr?

how does one do that well in a game and gain the same as if I were 10 - 20

is it just because of how inconsistent I am? does my mmr know it was just a fluke XD

Why am I still deranking?

I know I'm not good at Valorant, but I think I can sometimes play somehow "good". This act (act 1 in ep 5) my first rank was Bronze 1 and I climbed up to Silver 1. I wanted to climb higher, but I started losing and deranked to Bronze 3....

I know this is different for different people but I was wondering which skins give you the best aim/make you better at the game? I get really good aim on Sentinals of Light Sheriff and Reaver Operator
